The tourist tax is applied to clients that stay 1 to 5 nights. During high season the tax is €4.50 per person per night and in the low season (January) it is €3.30 per person per night.

How can I reach the hotel from the airport?

You can take a water taxi or use public transportations.
From the airport You can take bus line n. 05 (or ATVO ) to Venice and then waterbus line. 01 or 02 to Vallaresso ( San Marco ).
Alternatively You can take the ALILAGUNA (www.alilaguna.it ) directly to San Zaccaria ( blue or red line).

Is the hotel near Santa Lucia Station?

The Hotel Casanova is about 2 km from Santa Lucia Station in the heart of the Cannaregio district.
You can catch a private taxi or waterbus line n. 01 or 02 to Vallaresso ( San Marco ).

Do you have a private transfer service?

Yes, Hotel Casanova offers the possibility to book your private transfer.

Can I make a cash payment in the hotel?

Can I change foreign currency?

Unfortunately not, but the Concierge is at your disposal to find the best solution for you.

Is it possible to pay in the currency of my country of origin?

Yes, if your credit card uses a dynamic conversion system. The service is available to owners of Visa or Mastercard for the following currencies: USD, AUD, GBP, CAD, HKD, JPY and CHF.

Are museums open everyday?

No, they are generally closed on Tuesdays.

Is it required to wear specific clothes to visit religious places?

During the Summer period, it may be requested to cover the neck and shoulders.

Is wifi available for hotel guests?

Yes, individual guests can benefit from complimentary internet access.

Does the hotel allow pets in the room?

No, unfortunately pets are not allowed.

Will the cost of the booking be debited from my card?

In case of not refundable rate the credit card will be charged immediately.
For standard rate we’ll simply keep your card number in our secure system. If you fail to show up or cancel late (i.e. less than 72 hours before check in) then the hotel reserves the right to charge the full amount as per original reservation.
However a preauthorization might be asked 7 days prior to Your arrival. This means that the sum is only “frozen” on our behalf in order to guarantee Your reservation.
At the check-out You would choose whether to pay with the same credit card , by cash or with a different credit card. We will cancel the previous preauthorization
and the entire amount will return available on your credit card.

What time is check in and check out?

Standard check in time is after 2 pm while we ask guests to vacate by 11am.

Is the hotel good for disabled access?

Yes, despite the age of the building, all floors are served by a lift and there’s plenty of space for wheelchairs.

Are pets allowed?

Unfortunately, due to the extremely fine decor and precious art within the Hotel Pesaro Palace Venice, we have a no pet policy.

Is there a concierge service to help us book tours and excursions?

Simply ask our multilingual staff for assistance with anything you particularly want to do in Venice and we’ll do our utmost to make it happen..

Does the hotel have non- smoking rooms?

Yes, all rooms are non-smoking.

Yes, it is served from 7am to 10.30am.

Yes , right behind the wonderfull Saint Mark’s Square.

Do you have a SPA, gym or swimming pool?

No, unfortunately we do not. Ask our reception for alternative solutions.

Is there international satellite TV?

Yes.

Is there a restaurant in the hotel?

No, we would be happy to suggest You plenty of nice spots all around the city or simply few steps from the Hotel.

Does the hotel have any meeting room facilities?

No.

Is there a mini bar in each room?

Yes there is.
